Physiotherapy
Our Chartered Physiotherapists are registered with the HCPC and members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and their aim is to get patients back to a fully functioning lifestyle and sport as quickly as possible.
– At your first visit to the clinic the treating Physiotherapist will take a detailed medical history together with questions on your current complaint.
– This will be followed by a thorough examination to determine and diagnose the problem.
– So depending on which area is to be treated please remember to wear appropriate clothing (gowns are provided if needed).
– Treatment will be provided following the Initial Assessment.
Our Physiotherapists pride themselves on providing proven hands-on techniques in conjunction with mobilisation, manipulation, electrotherapy, heat and exercise.
The Physiotherapist will discuss in detail the treatment plan and should you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
A GP referral is not necessary to commence treatment, if however you have private medical insurance, a GP’s referral is sometimes required so it is always advisable to check with them first. Our clinic is approved and recognised by BUPA, AXA, Simply Health, Aviva and Standard Life to name a few.
